Shipping costs are calculated using either a FedEx or UPS calculator with a $1.00 handling fee added, although most shipping will be via FedEx. Ground shipping will be via FedEx Signature Home Delivery where available, to help ensure you receive your order. We can only ship to valid residential or business addresses. Please, no P.O. boxes, APO or FPO addresses. Additional shipping methods are available at extra charge. We reserve the right to substitute FedEx for UPS or vice versa for any order.
Please make sure that you use a shipping address where the product can be received. If an order is returned to us due to non-delivery, the customer is responsible for the return shipping charges.
If your order does not arrive on the delivery date projected by FedEx for the type of shipping chosen and if the delay is subject to shipping reimbursement by FedEx, we will refund the customer's shipping costs (minus the $1.00 handling fee) upon our receipt of the reimbursement from FedEx.
Free shipping promotions and/or FREESHIP coupons, when offered, have no cash value and we cannot credit customers the cost of shipping for products that did not arrive on the scheduled date.
Orders usually ship the same or next business day. Orders placed by 12:00 Noon, Pacific time, on a business day usually ship the same day. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
At this time we only ship to the United States and Canada.
Tracking numbers for your order are e-mailed directly from FedEx, usually within 72 hours of the shipping date. Please contact us if you do not receive a tracking number within that time. Orders for items shipped via U.S.P.S. will not receive a tracking number.
Due to the volatile nature of consumer electronics pricing, our prices may change from time to time. If a price is lowered and your order has not yet shipped, we will adjust your order to the lower price. Orders that have shipped can not be retroactively price adjusted.
Questions or problems will normally be addressed within 24 hours of e-mail delivery to our staff.
Surfremotecontrol.com offers a 30-day return policy (thirty days from the date of delivery to the customer) for all products purchased from us. The product must be returned in "as purchased" condition in its original box, including all original packing material, manuals and any accessories that came with it. If any of these items are missing or damaged we reserve the right to charge a "used" fee commensurate with the level of damage or missing parts, but in any event no less than 15% of the purchase price of the item. No refunds will be given for products that are not in resellable condition (ie: damaged or non-working). Any individual item with a sales price of $500 or more that's returned for total or partial refund within the 30-day period will incur a 10% restocking fee deducted from the refunded amount if not defective. No more than two returns for reasons other than defect within a six month period will be allowed.
Please call or e-mail us for a return authorization number prior to returning any merchandise. Merchandise returned without authorization may be subject to a restocking fee equal to the value of the merchandise, depending on its condition, but not less than 20% of the purchase price.
NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS RETURNED FOR REFUND
Original shipping charges for non-defective items are not refundable. All return shipping costs for non-defective items are the customer's responsibility. If the product was originally shipped under a "FREE Shipping" or coupon discount promotion, the actual cost of that shipping or the coupon amount will be deducted from the customer's refund upon return of a non-defective item.
EXCHANGE OF A NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCT FOR A DIFFERENT PRODUCT
Original shipping charges for non-defective items are not refundable. All return shipping costs for non-defective items are the customer's responsibility. If the product was originally shipped under a "FREE Shipping" or coupon discount promotion, the actual cost of that shipping or the coupon amount will be deducted from the customer's credit toward an exchange for a different product. The exchanged product is only returnable if defective.
If the item is sent back to us due to a defect, we will pay for Ground shipping to send a replacement item to the customer, and will credit the customer up to $7.00 for shipping the defective item back to us. If the defective item is returned for a refund, the original shipping costs are not refundable. If the defective product is returned for a refund and the product was originally shipped under a "FREE Shipping" or coupon discount promotion, the actual cost of that shipping or the coupon amount will be deducted from the customer's credit upon return. After the 30-day return period, the item must be sent to the manufacturer for warranty service or replacement.
SPECIAL ORDER MERCHANDISE
Special order merchandise cannot be returned to Surf Audio Video for credit card refund. If the product is defective upon receipt or becomes defective within thirty (30) days of receipt, it may be returned to Surf Audio Video and exchanged for the exact same product only. The product may also be sent to the manufacturer and repaired or replaced under the manufacturer’s own one (1) year warranty provision.
Except where noted in our "Hot Buys" section, all of our products come with full U.S. warranties from their respective manufacturers.
Foreign Customers: If you buy from us while you're in the States, please note that U.S. warranties may not apply in other countries. Please check with the applicable manufacturer regarding their warranty policies.
